I’ve been having a very hard time drawing. My art just isn’t the same anymore. I’m not able to do what I really want to do—that is, I want to tell a story through my illustrations, I want to be able to make something that people can only dream about. But I can’t, and I realized this just last night.
However, I discovered where my true abilities in art lie. It isn’t in storytelling, it isn’t in painting. Rather, it’s in something else. (it’s kinda embarrassing actually ahaha) but!! i truly believe that the only thing i can draw with skill would be sonic.
he’s all i can draw. he’s all i want to draw. i love him. it might have been a while ago, but i seriously just hafdkjfdav man. look at him. i love him so much, and if it were up to me i would be his bride.
so i’ve decided to take up base art.
i’ll submit my latest creations shortly.
something fun to do is to take your character’s clothing and draw each individual article as well as anything they may have on them, gives a bit of insight into your character and how much effort they’re willing to put into getting dressed every day uwu
also an fyi: reason why i haven’t posted much art is because my tablet stopped working entirely! and currently we are too poor to afford another tablet, there’s not really much telling when i’ll be getting a new one and it’s kind of shoddy imo to post phone pictures of sketchbook drawings to me though i guess i might do just that ‘till some time
